Irrfan Khan death in Mumbai hospital, Died due to cancer at the age of 54

Film actor Irrfan Khan, who ruled everyone’s heart with his performance, died on Wednesday. Irrfan Khan breathed his last at the age of 54 at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. Irrfan had been ill for a long time and he was admitted to the hospital in the past. There is an atmosphere of mourning in Bollywood due to the departure of the legendary artist.

According to the hospital’s statement, Irrfan Khan was struggling with stomach problem, he had a colon infection. Film director Shoojit Sarkar first informed about the death of Irrfan Khan, after which the statement was released from the hospital.

Shoojit Sircar tweeted and wrote “My dear friend Irfaan. You fought and fought and fought. I will always be proud of you.. we shall meet again.. condolences to Sutapa and Babil.. you too fought, Sutapa you gave everything possible in this fight. Peace and Om shanti. Irfaan Khan salute.”


Irrfan Khan’s mother died a few days ago, but due to his ill health and lockdown, he could not attend her funeral. A few days after the mother’s death, Irrfan Khan was admitted to the hospital.

After the death of Irrfan Khan, Bollywood veterans including Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal paid tribute. At the same time, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and other leaders also saluted him.

Irrfan Khan, one of the talented talent of Bollywood, is in shock as his fans and Bollywood celebs are suddenly shocked. Irfan was diagnosed with a disease called neuro-endocrine tumor two years ago in March 2018.

Irfan Khan was cured by getting treatment for this disease abroad. After returning to India, Irrfan Khan worked in the ‘Angreji Medium’. Who knew this film would prove to be the last film of Irrfan’s life.

Irrfan Khan started his career with television, after which he appeared in films. Haasil, Haider, Angreji Medium, Hindi Medium, Paan Singh Tomar  are such films in which Irrfan Khan did a strong job.

The actor, who started his career with the film Salaam Bombay in 1998, did not think that he would make even his acting crazy to Hollywood. In Hollywood, he acted in historical films such as Mighty Heart and Jurassic Park….
